We are aware we do small breeds. However: We have been using this food for 5+ years for everyone in our program: puppies, moms & dads! With amazing sucess and health, also This is a TOP Rated food.
The reason for using large breed vs small:
Its nearly idenical to the small breed puppy food as far as stats go, the biggest differnce is the size of the peices of food, the bigger peices of the large breed pupy food teaches young puppies to chew their food. Small breed puppy food is 1/4 of the size of each kibble so puppies often just learn to swallow instead of chew. When dogs or puppies dont chew their food, it can create issues. This teaches young puppies and small breeds to chew their food.
